To be honest I have nothing but good things to say about my Iphone, however I have never in my life had a phone service as bad as AT&T wireless (I have even lived in Ghana and Nigeria).

I just came back from a 2 week business trip from Hong Kong/Australia and used my Iphone for normal e-mail checking, phone calls and text messaging and came back to find a $1400 bill! My previous trip which was a full month with my T-Mobile Blackberry was all of $378. I have every single AT&T international add-on option that exists and my bill was still that high.

To add to that I have horrible reception in DC and have been having trouble with dropped calls ever since switching, I never even knew what a dropped call was when I had T-Mobile in DC.

I think the class action lawsuit needs to focus on the legality of AT&T having exclusive rights to the Iphone and not so much the Iphone itself.

For those of you thinking about an Iphone I wouldn’t touch the thing until you can use anyone but AT&T. If you travel outside of the US don’t even bother.
