We took our granddaughter age 9 to an audition advertised on TV for Pacific Modeling and Acting Academy in Seattle, WA in February 2008. After spending two hours at an open audition we were told that if she was accepted she would get a call back the next day. As it was, she DID get a call back the next day and we went to find out more about the academy. Jessica was interviewed by Jonathan. He said she fit the mold for the kind of child they were looking for. We were shown four different packages and decided on the 1 year Professional Track 2.0 which cost $5,900.00 for which was asked to pay upfront. Her classes started in March of 2008 at the Sheraton Hotel in Bellvue WA due to them telling us that their building was not completed. Jessica has only taken 3 classes and we received an email that the company had closed the doors and filed for bankruptcy. I am so totally angry not just for the loss of money but the loss of a dream for a young child who doesn't understand how a grown up could do something like this. A class action lawsuit should be file immediately by all who got scammed.
