I rented a truck for a one-way move. The truck had 1/2 tank of gas (4/8 as haul would say) and I was to return the truck with 1/2 tank. I did just that. My Wife and daughter were a wittness to this. I was instructed to drop off the truck at Pak-Mail and U-Haul store in Waukesha. No one was there. I called the 800 number they said no problem-just put keys and your contract in the key box and walk away.

I was charged $39.00 on my visa bill for fuel. I called U-Haul and talked with Vince Alexander (very Rude over the phone) and he said "sorry it's your word against ours." I filed a complaint with the BBB and u-haul's response were all lies. Capital One Bank is DISPUTING this fraudulant charge.

I would recommend that NO ONE RENTS A TRUCK FROM U-Haul.
