Subject: Reception and Sound Quality
Comment:
The basics are the basics. No matter how many bells & whistles a phone may have, the fundamentals have to be in place when it comes to great cell reception and sound quality with the ear piece. It is no secret that the AT&T has an average reputation. Still, I live smack in the middle of San Francisco and on several occasions the reception just dropped for no apparent reason, even when I am sitting still in my office chair. I have had Sprint and Verizon before and never was this a problem, or as frequent, as it has been with AT&T. Additionally, the clarity of sound coming out of the ear piece is average at best. And forget about the speaker phone, it's weak in that you can barely hear it when you have the volume turned all the way up.
