I was about to purchase the iphone but after reading these comments, have decided against it as the iphone is a complete waste of time and money. This must be the reason why there is none in stock in the UK. They must have had thousands of complaints and are now reviewing the iphone. Sadly, if this is the case, they are likely to bring out a newer model which addresses all the issues as mentioned at this and other sites but the losers are the those who bought the prototype for they will have to spend again unless Apple are compassionate enough to recall those phones and/or upgrade the software to come in line with the revised version. Here a proverb! It is not the beauty of a thing but the substance it is made of that counts!
