I have the charter bundle pack & I too have been over charged many times. I understand that I am dealing with many little companys in a big company regarding charter billing, but there is something wrong with this. I talk with one place on 13th say yes they can take post dated electronic payment out of my account on the 20th, then they put on the computer screen payment recieved, nothing about the 20th and it goes through on the 15th. My checking account bounces but they paid the bill and charged me $30. Call charter numerous times they keep saying they can't hear me and hang up, but everyone else I talk to inbetween hears me just fine. Finally get through rep says "we never take post dated payments" (calling me a liar?)tells me to go to web site to resolve prob. then hangs up on me. Call back ask to speak to supervisor, they give me Dale. Dale says, "she(the rep) typed into the computer dead air space (of coarse it was dead air space, she hung up!), it's illegal to take post dated payments, not their responsibility to refund $30.00, see if the bank will waive it, and the only way to contact a higher up is voice mail, or the internet." He also stated "If we return that money to your checking account you will be past due and will lose your service"(holdin service hostage?), no company is going to let you talk to their president or vice president, that's what we are here for". Assures me he will coach rude, mis-imformed billing reps. I thank him for that start and go to the internet. Talk to live rep who says I have to call that same 800# for my problem they can't help. SO how do I get connected to a good center? This is a run around, they keep their customers running around in circles till they give up. So now I am out $30, not my error, was Charter's, but they say they are not responsible for these people(their employee's), they pay in their billing centers mistakes. So who is? I will be glad to assist with any legal action regarding this, and I hope & pray that Charter sees these complaints and corrects their mistakes in the name of loyal customer care!
