Subject: CHARTER = A JUNK SERVICE & DISHONEST TOO!
Comment:
I have had all the same issues as Joseph and I am thoroughly disgusted with the way I have been treated. It began with the promise of a package of 118 a month bundled in phone and internet. Immediately I noticed (after Verizon) how poor the quality was, dealt with it mainly because porting my number was such a drama and I was without any phone service for 10 days after hours of time on the cel phone with charter and verizon trying to sort it all out. I just wanted my life back.
I have a business manager who pays my bills. Only after paying almost 6 months bills we noticed that CHARTER were over charging me twice what the 118 plan was a month. I was NOT getting the package I was promised. - When I contacted them, Charter tried to act like I had no package deal until I recited in detail the original agreement I had documented down to the minute (names and numbers of all reps I spoke with etc) If not for being able to provide the back up info, I am positive they would have denied they ever made the deal.
They have since cut me off several times for (get this) non payment of the bill even knowing full well they had over charged me and have had my money in their possession. It took them forever to rectify the mistake and I have had to suffer through hours of explaining their incompetence and lack of customer care to various RUDE dummies and robot supervisors.
There is something very twisted about the way they do business.
If I did not know better I'd think I was living in a third world country.
I will happily pay more money for tel service to get back with Verizon so I don't have to wait 30 seconds for a call to connect, but more to the point so i don't have to watch my bill for being ripped off from greedy corporate bandits, and have to talk to anymore of their incompetent RUDE staff. SHAME ON CHARTER and their telephone real life robots.
