State: Louisiana Posted: 05/05/2008 Subject: class action law suit Comment: I would like to find out information on the class action law suit. I purchased a 1968 dodge charger from Luedtke Performance Auto Group and did not get what I paid for. This company is cheating people and something needs to be done about it. I assumed that I was getting a "fully restored general lee" for over $23,000.00 but that is not what I received. This is just some of what I have been dealing with. I order the car and was told that I would received in a week but it took many phone call (after they had all of my money) and it arrived about 2 months later. When it arrived, I refused the driver to unload it and went in the house to call the company because this is "not" what I ordered. While I was on the phone with the company, the driver unloaded the car and left the title on the front seat and left. This is a list of what was wrong with my car. Motor and transmission needs to be rebuilt, radiator overheats, leaks gas, no break lights, no reverse lights, entire car needs to be rewired, all 4 shocks need replacing, gages don't work, headlight doors don't work, rust is appearing everywhere, windows leak, no air conditioner or heater, not the right seats, gages are spray painted, sun visors are torn, interior seats are spray painted, motor is spray painted, no chrome trim on outside, no radio or speakers, no headliner, no glove box, no dixie horn, no air conditioner controls, a/c blower doesn't work, trunk leaks, dashboard is spray painted, dashboard is cracked, wrong rims, needs all seals, needs fan shroud, needs back dash pad, needs an altinator, needs gage cluster, needs air breather, needs air filter, no chrome trim around brake lights, no reserve or overflow bottle for radiator, needs heater core and needs a/c compressor. It will take me thousands of dollars to restore this car. This company took advantage of me and and it sounds like many other people. I hope we can do something about this. After I received my car I found a web-site (youtube.com)- "general lee goin crazy" that shows this company burning the tires and abusing these same cars that they are about to sell to unsuspecting buyers. I have pictures from the company when they were building the car and they do not show any of the problem areas or take the picture far enough away not to be able to detect what it actually looks like. I have pictures that I took to show the condition of the car. Let sue the shit out of these people!!!!! |
