Hello,
I am glad I am not the only one experiencing so many problems with this company. Last year, I moved to the San Bernardino Mountain Communities. I had internet through Charter, and in late 2008 wanted to switch over for their 99.99 deal on Cable/Internet/Phone. They were suppose to save my current Verizon number, and there was to be no lag in service. But somehow all of the information go jumbled, and after talking to around 20 reps (getting cut off the line on more than 3 occasions in a line transfer), and going through 2 weeks of no phone service, and 2 seperate new Charter numbers we were finally "set-up"...
Of course then I got a bill for over $200...which I paid thinking set-p etc were added in...and then the next was over $250...so I called to get this changed...and again the phone tag run-around. I know cheaper is not always better...but this is ridiculous. I am now on the line with Charter to get my phone fixed AGAIN....supposedly I was to be able to use any of the phone jacks in the house...which I have never been able to, only the plug in the box itself. And now I am without phone.
