Subject: Charter needs to retrain all there CSR's
Comment:
I truly believe Charter is going to fail within the next year. Why? Because they have POOR customer service skills and misrepresent there company with false information. As a single mother of 3, I don't have money to donate to Charter. My phone was caught off on April 3rd, 2008 and on the April 4th I called to get my services reconnected. The CSR told me a minimum payment of $60 would get my phone back on. A phone is a necessity when you have small children. I made a payment of $60 and was told that my services would be back on within 24 hours. Never happened. I called Charter on April 5th to notify them my services had not been restored. I was told that I was given false information and that I would have to make an additional $44 payment. After speaking to 6 different people and being told 6 different things I was convinced they are a horrible company with NO type of honor of there word.
I was told that my bill was $200 from someone and then someone else told me it was $150. Which is it? Then I was told that there was no such thing as a minimum payment to get my services back on while another told me I could pay a minimum of $100. After getting the run around I really felt like I had been lied to and ripped off. I was hung up on countless times when I asked to speak to a supervisor and even laughed at like it was a joke.
I honestly feel like NO ONE should get there services because no one needs that much stress just to have a working telephone. It is bad enough every time you call Charter you speak to someone in India. Do we not need employment here or is it that it is cheaper to pay someone in India to do the job? Charter is outsourcing jobs and not properly training there CSR's to make sure they deliver correct information. They have been on the NEWS several times for unknown charges they add to your bill and for poor customer service. Charter is making thereselves look bad I don't have to do it for them...
