Uhaul CEO Edward 'Joe' Shoen apparently gave out his cel # on the television show Inside Edition: 602-390-6525. Joe Shoen explained saying, "People can't get this organization to behave, I can." Sounds like a tv stunt but it can't hurt to pick up a phone and try. Link. In other news, UHaul will start charging an "environmental fee" (whatever that is) on its rentals. : "Effective the week of March 4, 2008, Web BEST will begin charging an 'Environmental Fee'. This will be charged on all truck rentals. It is $1 per day on an In-Town with max of $5 and it is $5 per rental on a One-Way." Sounds like a scam to have slip an extra fee into the bill.
