Subject: Can't call the police!

I have had my iPhone for less then a year and already I have sent it back twice and visited the Apple store for repair issues. The most recent issue is the touch screen. The touch just stopped working last night! As a result, I am not able to use the phone nor the emergency call feature! I thought all phones had to make it so the caller can at least dial the police in case of an emergency. The only reason I switched to AT&T was to purchase this phone and it turned out to be just a very expensive shinny paper weight.
