Subject: Billing practices/customer service

I have been battling Charter Communications for three months. Every month beginning in January '08 when my bill arrives I have to spend a minimum of one hour on the phone with them correcting my erroneous bill. In January my bill went way up without any notification so I called to straighten it out, which I thought I did. February's bill came and the bill was even higher and again in March. I was quoted a price (the same price) by three different operators but when I ask why my bill is so much higher in subsequent months, I get the run around. I even had a rep (from Panama) tell me it's too bad.
My complaint is with customer service and billing. The folks I have spoken to in sales are great and williing to help.
I am at my wits end and I tonight I told them that I was going to Consumer Protection. I am in if there is a suit.
