Comment:
I recently purchased a living room suite from ASHLEY FURNITURE . I had the suite in my home about 4 or 5 days when I found several manufacturing defects; so I called the ashley warehouse and they sent a young boy out to inspect the suite and he agreed it was defective. I called his supervisor and she informed me that she was going to come and look for her self. She did and agreed it was defective she agreed that I could trade it for a different one .We couldn't find any other furniture that was any better than what we had, So I then asked for a refund and was told that I would have to pay a restocking fee of 30% of the purchase price.
I felt a 30% restocking fee was wrong since the problem was manufacturing defects.Eventhough I felt any restocking fee was wrong, I did agree to let ashley furniture keep $200.00 so that I could get the rest of my money refunded.
