Main thread--Charter Billing Practices
State: Nevada Posted: 02/15/2008 Subject: Charter Communications Billing and Service Comment: I had to write a 2 page letter to Charter just to simply state my issues. Imagine if I had written out the details. The long and short (which is still long) is that 1) they sent out service folks from both their company and a contractor who were inexperienced and unable to intstall basic cable and internet over the course of 7 home visits, 2) I was told misleading things about their services and wasn't given what I was told, 3) I experienced horrible customer service from their call center and when I was routed to India, 4) I was hung up on and/or placed on hold a number of times, 5) I was conned into giving up my original package for a "better" one, only to be billed a totally different amount and then told my original package could not be offered to me, 6) I was assessed a late fee (during a time when they weren't even providing service. This company tells lies, is deceptive in its sales and has the worst customer service I have experienced in my lifetime. |
