Subject: Miele Vacuum Cleaner Shocks User
Comment:
I purchased a Miele vacuum clean - Model Anteres -300 S 4210 a few weeks ago. Last week when I was vacuuming an oriental wool rug I got a shock up my hand and arm as a bolt of what appeared to be static electricity zig-zagged up the metal pole into my hand and up my shoulder and neck.
Miele's U.S. headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey denies there is any manufacturing defects in the Miele Anteres Model S 4210 but advised me to vacuum wearing sneakers in the future and to spray my rugs with static guard before I vacuum rugs again. That is bizzare !
I want to know if anyone else has encountered the same problem. I want to return the Miele Vacuum cleaner and get my money back ... over %500.00 but the company is giving me a hard time and doesn't seem to want to stand behind its product.
