Subject: Washington Mutual Fraudulent Lending
Comment:
Washington Mutual Bank was negligent and practiced fraudulent lending practices on so many levels against my elderly father:

They allowed him to take out three mortgages after the death of my mother when I stepped in as successor trustee without my knowledge, consent or signature - they did not bother to check if he had the ability to mortgage the home

His monthly payments on the three loans are almost 100% of his monthly pension

The loan to value is also about 100%, the appraisal was too high.

Adult protective services got involved because he was being abused financially by my mothers caretaker. They told WAMU about the situation. APS told WAMU to freeze his equity line to stanch the bleeding of his money. WAMU themselves called to make a police report, then proceeded to lend him $285,000 more!!!

Any and all attempts to rectify this matter with WAMU have been fruitless. Each department does not know what the next is doing and claims no responsibility for anything.

HIS HOME IS NOW GOING INTO FORECLOSURE!!
