I had the small 4 ft trailer. those things are so light that a child could move it by hand. Anyway, the girl at U-Haul wanted me to back it into the spot, I CAN NOT back up a trailer. I told her this and I pulled it up to the spot. The woman started lecturing me on how to back up. I told her STOP. My husband drives trucks for a living and has already tried to teach me and I CAN'T. She says "well, we can't take it off unless you get it closer." I started un hooking the thing and then wheeled it into place while she stood there with her little co worker and they both WATCHED ME instead of helping. Not like I needed help but they didn't even bother. so when I called uhaul to complain I was cut off by a supervisor that "just happened to be listening" and said that I needed to call a different number. She repeated the number 2 x and hung up on me. While she was giving me the number I was yelling "I don't have a pen! STOP!" So I called back and got the same manager again after talking to the new rep for like 30 secs. She swears that it was not her that hung up on me. Anyway, she gives me the number. Turned out it was to some place in Arizona. THAT person gave me the number for Nashville. THAT peson left a message for someone else. They called me back several days later and said they would give me $25 back and no more because I was able to use the equipment with no problems. when I started to complain about her judgement call she TOOK BACK her offer of $25 and said I wouldn't be getting anything at all and hung up on me! I called back (caller id) and talked to another person that was just as rude as the first but she agreed to give me the $25. That is why I HATE uhaul and will never do business with them again!
