It sounds like you bought the same car I did. Almost the same complaint, word for word.
I have a personal friend who is an excellent mechanic and I myself used to be a light wheel mechanic, so the car is coming along niceley.
You have to remember, that the price we paid is not the issue here. By the time I get through with my General Lee it will be about a $60,000 dollar car. I paid $30,000 for it, and have spent about another $3,000 in new parts.
Take your time and realy shop around for your parts and hopefully you know a friend who is a mechanic. Your investment can still pay off if you are smart about it. Shop around because a lot of specialty shops will give you awsome breaks on the labor just to hang a picture of the General Lee parked in front of their buisness. It is an awsome selling tool for these buisnesses. Also I found Jegs auto parts to be the most reliable and affordable.
If you guys do start a class action against Ludke, then add my name to the list.
