State: AL Posted: 09/21/2007 Subject: Rip-off from Comment: This company claims a takeover fell thru to essentially throw their "Independent Associates" efforts down the tubes. It's a vitamin co. that uses a pyramid-like payoff system in addition to the sales quotas for payoff benefits Twenty sales @ $39.95 earns you a $1,000.00 check. Any of the sales assoc. you bring in will earn you a $500.00 reward as they also make their $1,000.00. Five groups of twenty sales nets you an additional $5,000.00 bonus on top of the 5 individual $1,000.00 rewards for the groups of 20 twenty sales each. Where the company really generates some revenues thru programs they push to direct potential leads your way and/or other payoff options for additional fees from the original $35.00 start-up fee to activate your personal website.I personally bought two programs at a total cost of $1,200.00, was supposedly assigned 5 personal assoc. to generate the $500.00 rewards. The assoc. never made a single sale and I never saw from the potential lead tracker that a single potential customer was directed my way. I was supposed to receive a minimum of at least 3000 leads every year, with targeted marketing, for the life of my existance with the company-which was at my discretion w/o any annual membership fees, but with many potential marketing tools or paid promotions I'm sure. Please reearch this company as thouroughly as you can and get the word out. One of the website addresses in addition to the one in the comment box is www.thegreatestvitaminintheworld.com.
