Typically, the consumer affairs division investigate allegations of fraud or deceptive trade practices within the state and sometimes mediates disputes between consumers and businesses. The AG's office will not represent individual consumers in complaints against a business. If you are the victim of fraud or what you believe to be a deceptive trade practice within your state, file a complaint online with the state AG's office.
