Ask a Plastic Surgeon / Breast Augmentation-Lift-Reduction
Question 44

Question: I have no fullness on top of my breast implants. I have heard that I can have pectoral or gluteal implant added on top of my other implant. Is this correct? can it be done safely? and has any other Doctor ever tried it? Please advise me if this is posssible?
From: Adriana, Florida 02/10/2008

Response: You have heard wrong since I know of no report or any reputable plastic surgeon "stacking" implants. There would be nothing to hold it up and I severely doubt if it would look good for any length of time. You might consider a larger, tear-drop shaped implant or a lift if you need more superior fullness.
