Ask a Plastic Surgeon / Breast Augmentation-Lift-Reduction
Question 34
Question:
I had breast augmentation exactly a month ago and am just now experiencing rippling along the sides. I have Mentor, smooth, below the muscle implants that are 375 cc filled to 420 cc. I was wondering if this could be something temporary or if there is a need for revision of some kind.
Thank You,
Pam

Response: I would give it some more time to see what happens. I would massage the implants daily. These are fairly large implants and if you are thin tissue this is not uncommon. Obviously you need to direct these questions to your surgeon. Rippling that fast in my experience is uncommon.
