Question: I am considering having abdominoplasty and would like to know if the surgery will reshape my labia or if they will stretch after the surgery.

Response: Abdominoplasty surgery has no direct effect on your labia. There is some upward migration of the pubic area due to the tehsion of the closure but most of this is directed towards the abdominal flap. If you desire labial reshaping, discuss it with your plastic surgeon as there are a number of procedures which directly reshape this area.
