Question: I'm a us citizen and my wife is a mexican citizen, we were married in georgia on oct. 2007, our daughter was born in mexico, will we be able to bring the baby to the us when we come in may? my wife will be coming on a work visa.
From: Ronnie, Georgia 03/30/2009

Response: You can definitely bring the baby back when you come back in May and the baby may even already be a U.S. citizen. You may wish to contact your closest U.S. consulate to see if your daughter is eligible for citizenship. The rules regarding this are somewhat lengthy and confusing and dependent on the date of birth of the child but they should be able to help you there.
