Question: can you tell me when the immigration amnesty that is proposed by president obama will come into effect? From: patricia, georgia 02/26/2009 Response: To my knowledge, no immigration bill has yet been submitted by the Obama Administration to Congress. Therefore, we do not know whether the expected Obama immigration bill shall contain an amnesty provision and, if so, it's effective dates and requirements to qualify.
