It requires only a few minutes of your time in selecting the professionals and filling out a short questionnaire. You, the User, are in complete control of the proposal process: your identity (other than your first name and email address) is withheld from the professionals during the proposal process, you select which professionals are allowed to submit proposals, you are under no obligation to select the proposal with the lowest price (nor to select any proposal)! Once a professional submits a proposal to you, he or she shall also receive your email address for followup communications. How do I get started?
Simple, just 4 easy steps:

(3) Pick the specialty category in which you need help (i.e., tax law or laser eye surgery), and
(4) Now follow the directions you recieve at this point on the RFP home page. You will be directed here to register as a user, pick the professionals from whom you desire proposals, and finally to describe your needs to us in a short, online questionnaire.

MedLawPlus.com® is the first U.S. enterprise to bring the consumer choice and power of a purchaser-driven, anonymous internet RFP process to the field of professional services. Joseph Raymond, the founder of MedLawPlus.com®, filed a provisional patent application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on May 21, 1999 for this process which was later followed with a final application. His rights under this application have been licensed to MedLawPlus.com® and are incorporated into this site. One of the company investors is attorney James N. Guirl, II.
The Credential Listing Feature. Each professional has submitted a summation of his or her background and credentials along with a link to their web page which is listed directly under the provider's name in our directory. We do not independently verify the professional's representations. The directory of providers is broken down by geographic region and practice area. Therefore, at your fingertips in a concise format is standardized information to assist you in weighing your options and the relative merit of various professioinals within your city.
Free System for Professionals. If you are a professional and interested in participating in this online RFP system, please register. The system is free for both users and professionals although professionals have the option to pay for premium placement on our listing pages.
Please be advised that physicians are ethically prohibited from agreeing to perform a procedure without first conducting an examination andarriving at a proper diagnosis. Thus, any proposal you receive from a physician in the MedLawPlus.com® system is contingent upon the doctor performing an examination and arriving at a diagnosis that the procedure you are requesting is, in the doctor's medical opinion, called for. Also, lawyers are ethically required to do conflict checks prior to accepting a client. Please be aware that a proposal received through this system is a price quote as opposed to a binding contract for the provision of professional services.
Also be advised that the anonymous communications between users and attorneys in our system do not create an attorney-client relationship. All users of this system agree to this point by becoming registered users. Furthermore, attorneys are generally prohibited from accepting clients prior to certain background checks upon such matters as conflict of interest.
