MEDLAWPLUS.COM® ONLINE LEGAL FORMS

  • Free Trial. Users may elect to conduct a free trial of each of our forms whereby you will be able to create a non-printable version of the exact form (customized to your questionnaire responses) that we are offering for sale. On each form information page, there is a "free trial" icon in the upper right-hand corner. To take the free trial, click on the icon, register as a user, then complete the form questionnaire. If you decide to purchase, the data submitted during the trial shall be pre-loaded into the questionnaire and the forms thereafter created shall be printable.
  • Our system's "online" so all the work is done right here on our site ... no downloading, no shipping of disks, no software setup. Fill out the online questionnaire and the system creates the selected document for you in seconds.
  • Easy to follow online questionnaire guides you through the process. You will be able to click on all legal phrases to get a definition and on "question marks" to get a further help.
  • How many times can I change my questionnaire responses to edit my document? You may do so an unlimited number of times during the 60 days during which forms stay in our database. Upon the expiration of 60 days from the date of purchase, forms are automatically deleted from our database. Caveat: Although the questionnaire may be edited an unlimited number of times, a new payment is required to create a new form. For example, an individual who has purchased a last will form for himself must make a new payment if he wishes to also create a last will for his wife.
  • Upon submitting the form questionnaire, your document is automatically created in seconds. The system displays an executive summary of the document for you to review and you are given the choice of either viewing the document online or going back to the questionnaire to make changes. The system produces a "PDF" version of your document for printing right off the screen in a clean, usable format for execution as a legal document.
  • Can I receive a Microsoft Word 2000 format of my document? For paying users, the automatic document email system mentioned below allows users to have their document emailed to them in either Adobe PDF or Word 2000 formats. If, after paying, you have a problem getting your document in either format from our server, just email us and your document shall be sent within 24 hours via a return email.
  • What are the advantages of the PDF format? This is the high-tech method for transferring documents on the web. If you print an HTML or other standard web page directly from your web browser, the position of page breaks, type of font, page width, etc. will change depending on the setting of your printer. Also, in this case, there is no method for setting page numbering and footers. In PDF, what you see on the screen is exactly what comes out of your printer! With PDF, the document comes out with a professional look and feel together with page numbering and footers. With important documents such as a Last Will and Testament, the format can even effect the legality of the document.
  • Can the system email my document to me? The answer is "yes" if you have paid for the form in question. A link entitled "email my document to me" shall appear for paying users on the Executive Summary page to which one is taken after submission of the form questionnaire. The link shall be found immediately below the "final document" link at the bottom of the page. Click on this link and follow the directions. The document will be emailed to you in seconds. Note: under no circumstances shall hard copies of documents be mailed by MedLawPlus.com® to users.
  • You may electronically save a copy of your form to your PC hard drive for later use. We also promise to keep a copy of your form on our server for 60 days after purchase. During this period you will be able to come back online, make changes to the data, and create an updated version of the prior form.
  • Please be advised that our legal forms, although sophisticated in their own right, have a limited amount of choices. The more your wishes depart from the standard situation, the less likely it is that the form shall work for you. For this reason, we encourage all users to avail themselves of the free trial.
  • Refund Policy. Should User have purchased a document and, at any time prior to creating a printable Adobe PDF version of this document (note: printable document is created immediately upon submitting form questionnaire), discover that he or she desires the aid of an attorney in creation of the legal form in question, MedLawPlus.comŽ promises to refund the purchase price if notice of this problem is given by user to MedLawPlus.comŽ within 48 hours of the purchase: . User must include his or her name, the type of form which was purchased, and the purchase date in this communication. Online forms maybe not be returned for a refund after the user has created a printable Adobe PDF copy. We encourage all users to take the "free trial" of a form before purchase to ensure that the form fits your needs.
